Post The New Camera
Well, here it is! The new camera. I love it so far and hope to show some of the photos soon. Busy with stuff for school, family birthdays, etc. And, yes Krisse, I did get a dvd tutorial for it...just need time

Later some photos...

Krisse, it records RAW in a second or 2...really fast.

Here is the photo page at my school. The last 2 links are taken with the new camera (Thanksgiving).

Congratulations from here too.
 I was laughing when reading your post.
I could nearly hear your inspiration to this camera when reading your post.

Oh how much the camera prices have went down. It seem to have cool features like this face detect, wireless flash control, Image Stabilization and anti dust just to mention few.
So many features are taking time for learning how to use them. No wonder they are giving video tutorials with it.

Quote:
Set to Continuous, we shot 42 Large Fine JPEGs in 12.4 seconds before the camera slowed slightly; this corresponds to a rate of 3.4fps, and it should be noted the camera could keep on firing beyond this point, but not always at this consistently fast rate. The buffer also cleared almost instantly.
Set to RAW mode, the E-520 captured nine shots in 2.6 seconds before slowing to about 1.5fps.

On the YouTube video it's "shutter sound" sounds REALLY quick. It's maybe that for there was an option to let mirror up.

Good thing are two card spaces. It's having similar batteries as mine Canon 300D.
Does it support Adobe RGB color profile? I only saw sRGB in the video.
P.S Nice thanksgiving pictures. I can see you are not yet fully familiar with your new camera.

Post Re: The New Camera
Congrats on the new camera Joanne. I've been taking photos at the school and I'm not happy with them. I'm not getting sharp focus from a distance and they're grainy. If I add black in ACR it helps but then they look like someone drained all the color away. I want high speed with low light settings for when the kids are singing with their hands moving. Maybe I should invest in a digital movie camera for that.
